INDECISION KILLING ABORIGINALS

By EWALT AINSWORTH 04 23 2014

Every day is a gunshot in aboriginal Indian communities. The PPP initiated negative behaviors by giving the hinterland peoples guns and portraits of opposition leaders for target practice. These days the guns are turned on each other disproportionately to other ethnic enclaves.

The touchaus (Amerindian leaders), used to be able to keep domestic and tribal and inter and intra relationships hush-hush but with the PPP paying them to dismantle their traditions, the ting backfiring. Not enough teachers and social workers and health specialists to move them into a money economy where the accumulation of stuff trumps simplicity and grace. Continue reading

COMMUNITY MOURNS AUNT SUE-LING

By EWALT AINSWORTH 04 22 2914

Notoriety was easy for this sterling comrade who dedicated a life time of simply raising kids irrespective of the underlying narrative. She gave and they gave back; there was a piano and rewards for those who mastered the art form. There was also a cricket bat and a rounders racquet so that the concept of sharing was glaring.

It was about family-neurship….family and entrepreneurship that was in abundance. A fortnight has passed since Aunt Sue-ling… literally a matron of honor has aborted her Facebook connections and has moved to a parish where there is no pain.

The immediate families traded in their respective comfort zones in Indiana, Brooklyn, Baltimore, Louisiana and every other port of call to be in Guyana for the massive community outpouring for Aunt Sue-Ling. Continue reading

LIFESTYLE ELECTIONS MOOTED FOR GT

By EWALT AINSWORTH         04 17 2014

Lifestyle seems to be pushing the overnite and half-baked decisions to have elections almost immediately in Guyana. President Bharrat Jagdeo is addicted to eating big, tekking big, living big, getting big and shitting big. This recent fiasco now that he has gotten Ms Debbie Backer out of the way he feels that the rest of the players in the ball field are both pushers and push-overs.

The drug community has been kind to him and Jagdeo underwrites everything because he knows everyone has a price; money is no problem but now that money is getting expensive to remit, an election at this time buys survival. At least so it seems.  Continue reading

Gospel of Jesus’ Wife

NORMAN BROWN – ADDICTIVE  LOVE

Gospel of Jesus’ Wife
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The “Gospel of Jesus’ Wife” is the name given to the text on a papyrus fragment with writing in Egyptian Coptic that includes the words, “Jesus said to them, ‘my wife…'”.[1] The text on the fragment is alleged to be a fourth-century Coptic translation of what is said to be “a gospel probably written in Greek in the second half of the second century.”[2]

Professor Karen L. King (who announced the existence of the papyrus in 2012) and her colleague AnneMarie Luijendijk named the fragment the “Gospel of Jesus’s Wife” for reference purposes[3] but have since acknowledged the name was controversial.[note 1] King has insisted that the fragment, “should not be taken as proof that Jesus, the historical person, was actually married”.[4] Luijendijk and fellow papyrologist Roger Bagnall authenticated the papyrus with Luijendijk suggesting it would have been impossible to forge.  Continue reading
