FOUR PLUS SIZE GT EXECUTIVES DIE OVERSEAS

By  EWALT AINSWORTH                 04 27 2013

There has been a seismic shift in the Facebook accounts of four former Guyanese executives….including two gynecologists in the diaspora.  Over the weekend, the family of Owen Kato a former top brass and senior inspector of the National Insurance Scheme were informed that  Kato  died in New York,

In England a short week ago, Uriel Assanah, from  the People’s Republic of Victoria passed on.
The renowned radio-trician and entrepreneur was 84 and died quietly after a prolonged illness surrounded by his wife Maureen, children and grandchildren.  GIG as he was familiarly known internationally was a come-backee.     Continue reading

The decision to rescind the OR Tambo award for President Forbes Burnham by President Jacob Zuma of South Africa

Guyanese have sat on their asses and allowed others to define their history for them. They spend enormous amounts of time on Facebook spewing bile and agonizing over who is trying to upstage or conspiring against them by creating similar groups etc. We write lengthy pseudo-intellectual articles and none will be recorded in the annals of history to defend our legacy and our great leaders and heroes.
America had presidents who were slave owners, and until recently some in congress were members of the Ku-Klux Klan and all of these have been labeled great men. Guyana had President Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham and we must not allow anyone to decide for us his level of greatness, he is ours and he has served our country and the world in very positive ways like no one else. Just like the American “greats,” President Burnham may have erred, but point to a man without fault and it is either you are lying or he was never born.  Continue reading

NO HASTE TO INCARCERATE IN  ESSEQUIBO

A tug boat owned by BK INDUSTRIES slammed into one of the Chinese-made Parika ferries mid-week crippling all services to Supenaam, Wakenaam, Leguan and Bartica.

Guyana’s barefoot consul-general to Spain and personal friend of both Presidents seems to be in a revengeful mode.  Fake  electronic transfers of  euros….pisa…mullahs…. money and payments due to farmers seems to be at the heart of the problem that the police seems to be awaiting instructions while  rotting food  and starving small animals feature prominently.  Stench from as far away as ten miles from each of the affected stellings fills the air.  Underage  passengers in cars seem to be having fun playing litty and gam while the adults beerbate and debate the wounds two men of questionable character lead the country into disaster after disaster…as if it is the national past time.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the hole after the slam-bam impact was as big as a hangar for a two car garage or a kitchen on a rural house.  Continue reading

ADVANTAGE COULD NEVER DONE UNDER PPP

By  EWALT AINSWORTH         04 21 2013

Two weeks…almost a fortnight after the sodomizing and gruesome killing of Baby Prince, 90 in the People’s Republic of Victoria delta the police has refused to look within the Indian communities for her alleged assailants.  Good policing is oft times methodical but in Gt there is no method to the madness…. and laziness.  In Gt is about ketching-a-packoo-and-bruck-he-neck.

Good policing also has to do with the same officers walking the beat day in and day out; knowing the language of the streets, the queens, princesses, princes and in-betweens.
The Babylon must be part of the fabric and must trust and be trusted, and getting to know their customers and provide intelligence that they can take to court.
The PPP has allowed the inter and intra relationships between people and police to be transactional; pay something to get something.  In this case…justice.  Advantage can never done is the cry in the PRV.   Continue reading
