CLAUDETTE MC KENZIE TAKES RECESS

BY  EWALT AINSWORTH         03 16 2013

Darling of the National Insurance Scheme and former board member, Ms Claudette Mc Kenzie took a permanent recess from the challenges and rigors of life and has moved on to a place especially reserved for the precious and productive few.

Claudette, for a number of significant years, encountered and endangered herself to the NIS most vulnerable …the marginalized senior citizens.  She was the managing supervisor and made sure that the life certificates were up to date and the old people irrespective of their underlying circumstances got their money.

Claudette retired a quarter of a century ago and migrated with her family to Brooklyn.  Her husband, Wayneright … former Chief Executive of   CONTINENTAL INDUSTRIES now turned reverend in the Episcopal  Diocese is currently involved in mobilizing the family and fans alike for a mammoth home coming for feisty and flammable Claudette.

Perhaps it should be repeated that the feistiness was peppered with humor and good cheer and it was her way of doing what is right when all others pondered giving up or being stressed.  Claudette was blessed and very rustic and ritualistic in all her endeavours.  Her contribution will always be recalled and remembered with distinction.
